Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Western dance forms like Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Ballroom to students of all age groups
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and age-appropriate dance lessons
- Choreograph performances for school events, functions, annual day and competitions
- Provide individual and group guidance to students on dance techniques, posture, rhythm and stage expression
- Train students for inter-school events, dance competitions and stage shows
- Collaborate with other performing arts faculty and contribute to cross-curricular activities
- Classroom Management: Ensure student discipline and maintain a safe, respectful dance studio environment
- Assess student progress and maintain performance records
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and performance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dance / Performing Arts or equivalent
- Expertise in at least 2-3 Western dance forms – Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Ballet preferred
- 2 Years minimum experience as a Western Dance Teacher
- Strong choreography and stage performance skills
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Creative and energetic personality

All degrees and certifications should be from a recognized institution
